Corporate Photography for Guhring

Corporate Photography for Guhring

We were commissioned by The Alternative Events Company http://www.thealternativeevents.co.uk  and Events Specialist Tru Powell for the corporate photography of the official opening of Guhring   http://www.guhring.co.uk in Birmingham, an engineering firm bringing skilled jobs to Birmingham.

AV and staging was provided by Saqi Roadshow http://www.saqiroadshow.com so the the factory was transformed into a classy event space. Corporate Photography in a factory was never so easy for us!

Locating the Event

Lensi will shoot the location where your event is happening if it is important to the event story. The Guhring factory was a main part of the story, so it was also important to also create quality imagery around this.

Commercial Business Photography in Walsall – Construction Hoardings

Commercial Business Photography in Walsall – Construction Hoardings

Commercial Business Photography in Walsall by Lensi Photography.

We worked with Walsall Housing Group on a Project to provide commercial business photography in Walsall for hoardings that were about to grace one of their local areas that were having new housing constructed.

We are all used to seeing the plain white hoardings, aren’t they a little boring? So we decided to bring a little interest to the boards that will protect the buildings site in the Goscote Area Regeneration, with Commercial Business Photography in Walsall by photographing local residents whose images would feature on each boards.

Photographs of local people!?? Yes!

Photographs of people who are well known in the area, people who great achievements, people who work in the area. We came up with something like this ….

Untitled-1 resize

Something bright vibrant and relevant to the area. Photographs of local people that everyone would recognise and be able to relate to.

If you are a building company, or construction company that are working on a construction site that you would like to brighten up with photography that local people can relate to, why not contact us for a quote.

We also provide Commercial Business Photography in Walsall and beyond for all aspects of your marketing, press and advertising.

Commercial Photography – Book Covers

Commercial Photography

Book Covers

As a commercial photographer in Birmingham, we produce images for companies. We decided to test our film skills by entering this national competition to provide commercial photography for Penguin Books.

Penguin Books run an annual competition to create a new front cover for a book that is being revamped, everything had to be shot of film (everyone who knows me know I hate this) Film takes too long for me, the results take too long to see, developing the film, waiting in the dark counting the minutes, leaving them to dry, scanning in the negatives is also tedious, as is ensuring they have no dust on them.

Having to scan them in them in to photoshop them, somehow seems wrong, but I do not have the dark room skills or patience to dodge, burn and lighten manually. Taking all of this into consideration, I think I did well to produce and submit so many!

Delivering the same project in digital would have taken at least a quarter of the time! Yes, I hear all the arguments about the quality film provides, and the photographers out there that are excited by having to sit in a dark room counting the minutes to see the fruits of their labour, but personally digital is still for me!
